Thread the Loom Arcade Puzzle
Weave is the only loom simulation game on the App Store. Players thread a shuttle across warp threads to recreate beautiful patterns — or go freestyle and weave their own tapestry.
Built with real weaving mechanics — heddles raise and lower warp threads to form the shed, the shuttle carries the weft thread through, and fabric forms row by row with procedurally generated textile textures. It's a craft simulation wrapped in an arcade puzzle.
Weave was built by a solo developer in Australia who wanted to capture the meditative, tactile satisfaction of real loom weaving in a mobile game. Every mechanic — from the shed opening when heddles are raised, to the shuttle carrying thread across the loom — is modelled on how real weaving works.
The result is something that sits between a craft simulation, an arcade puzzle, and a creative sandbox. Pattern mode challenges you to match increasingly complex designs. Freestyle mode lets you paint with thread. And the Pro demo showcases what's possible with the Thread Stop feature by auto-weaving Van Gogh's Starry Night in real time.
